OUR ACTIVITIES
Welcome to CWS! Home to a wide range of popular water-based activities including our Aqua Park, Wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Kayaking. Situated just 5 minutes from Chichester city centre, our freshwater lake measuring around 40 acres, is supplied mainly by The South Downs.
THE AQUA PARK
Introducing our brand new, super-sized Aqua Park! Come and bounce, climb and slide around our inflatable Aqua Park.
Have fun with your friends and family around our course! The perfect activity for kids parties, team bonding or just a fun day out.
Suitable for anyone aged 7+ who can swim 50m unaided, with a buoyancy aid. We recommend those between 7-10 go on the park with an adult at a ratio of 1:3.

An exhilarating and energising sport for all those thrill seekers out there, or for those looking for a fun alternative to keep fit. It's no surprise that wake boarding is one of the fastest growing water sports worldwide! From complete beginners to advanced riders, our expert instructors are here to help.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING
The perfect paddle-based activity suited to everyone.
Originating from Hawaii, SUP requires a paddle to propel you through the water on a large surf-like board. Paddleboarding around our 40-acre freshwater lake has been described as, “hugely relaxing” and a “serene experience”.
It’s a water sport that doesn’t require a huge amount of practice to get you going and can be enjoyed by everyone. A great compliment alongside one of our other more ‘adrenaline fueled activities’ to wind down, or a great steppingstone into the water sports world.

KAYAKING
A fun, yet leisurely activity to improve your fitness, strength and flexibility.
All our kayaks here at CWS are sit on top with single or double options, making them ideal for beginners and families, or for those wishing to be gently introduced into water sports. Our boats are both stable and easy to paddle, guaranteeing you a bit of fun. Also, there’s no need to worry about being trapped as they are not enclosed. Whilst you embark on your journey, be sure to check out all the different wildlife around our lake!

GROUP & SCHOOL ACTIVITY DAYS
A fun and safe environment for groups to try a variety of watersports.
CWS is the perfect place to tailor an exciting outdoor adventure for your group. Throughout the summer season, we run a number of private activity days for schools and other large groups. We work to incorporate a variety of activities so individuals get the chance to experience what's on offer here at the centre!

BOAT TOWS
Fall in love with Wakeboarding and Waterskiing.
With a designated boat for skiing, boarding and learners we have the right option for you! Our learner boat is equipped with a boom bar making it the easiest way to progress and benefit from our expert tuition.
Tows are suitable for anyone aged 7+ who can swim 50m unaided, with a buoyancy aid.

CANCELLATION POLICY
CWS requires that all booked activities/services are paid for in full, in advance. All activities * will require full payment at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance are entitled to a full refund, if you cancel your booking 72 hours in advance you are entitled to a 50% refund OR full credit if you wish to reschedule. We operate a strict no-refund/amendment policy within 72 hours of your booked session. In the rare case of severe weather conditions which are deemed dangerous (such as lightning storms), activities will be momentarily postponed or, cancelled and re-arranged for an alternative date. We are unable to issue refunds in the case of bad weather. We advise that you turn up 30 minutes before your allocated time as late arrivals could result in missed sessions or shortened allocated time slots. CWS cannot be held responsible for late arrivals. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you soon! *Turning up without a confirmed booking is done so at your own risk.

Chichester Water Sports (CWS) is a centre for water-based activities such as: windsurfing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, kayaking and banana boat rides to individuals, families and groups such as schools, clubs and societies.

Where we get your personal information from?
You provide the information to us on the consent form that you complete when you register to take part in an activity.
For children under 16 years of age, the information is provided to us by a parent or guardian.
For groups the information is provided to us by the group leader.
How we use your personal information?
For safety reasons we maintain a register of individuals currently using the centre.
We retain your details as a condition of us obtaining insurance cover for the activities.
When will we contact you?
We will contact you if a query arises from your visit, in the event of an emergency or if you specifically ask us to.
Who we share your information with?
We will share your details with our insurers in the event of them being relevant to a claim.
We verify that our insurers have a privacy policy that is compatible with ours and which complies with data protection legislation.
We do not transfer your data to non-EU countries.
How long do we keep your personal information?
We retain your information for up to five years.
Safeguarding Measures
We have put reasonable and appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the personal information that we process.
We use individual usernames and passwords that must be entered each time a member of staff logs on.
These safeguards help protect against unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and provide for the appropriate use of personal information.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information that we hold about you, to know how we process it, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to restrict what we do with your information, to object to us processing your information, to ask us to transfer your information in an electronic form to a third party and to ask us to erase your information. We may not be able to erase your information if we need to retain it as a condition of our insurance cover, if we do erase it we will keep a record of it which will include some limited personal information.
